Amy Johnson's House

The sun shone today, woohoo, Matthew was in Birmingham at the clock fair and the visiting his parents.

Ted and I walked over to visit Mum and have a lush Sunday roast with her. I would normally walk along the 4 or so miles of the Ridgeway/ Icknield Way to get to her house but I knew it would be deep in mud so we opted for the less muddy but more urban walk. This routes takes us through Princes Risborough near St Mary's Church and past Amy Johnson's former house. It is a 17th century half-timbered house, which was once the Vicarage and is now, known as Monks Staithe.
