feet well travelled

Today it has been a super rainy day.
This was my view on the walk to church this morning.
I literally love this umberella.
It was purchased at a buzzing Zambian local market in the middle of a township called Chifubu.
It made it safely all the way back in my luggage and it brightens up all the rainy days I have here in the UK.

Church today was teaching me how God works through, despite of and perhaps because of my brokeness.
There is no person that God cannot work through, but they have to be willing to submit to Him. Thats such an exciting prospect.
I thank God for giving me a different perspective of my life today...seeing things in a different way was what I needed.

After church I took myself for a cuppa at ANOTHER new place called the Wild Trapeze...This was a much needed bit of ASD time.
I wrote my heart onto paper whilst sipping a perfect mocha.
I find that writing down my feelings, emotions and thoughts replaces the need to tell other people, especially that special someone who is no longer there. Writing it down gets it off my heart and frees me up. And means I can look back in weeks and months to come and remember how I felt.

Me and Coralie have been for a jog...first one in a while but hopefully the first of many: we need to get into shape for 2014's adventures!!!
Stretching those legs and getting the heart beating faster felt great!
We played on the kids play park for a bit of fun too!
