Veil tale.......

I am a bit of a hoarder and College student son is completing a project on my collecting! A fantastic excuse to reminisce and be listened to, for a change!

In all 'stuff' being retrieved, I came across the receipt for my veil and the memories came flooding back!

It was purchased on the day I was accompanying Dad and Mum to a royal Garden Party at Holyrood Palace. It was a gorgeous sunny day and I remember thinking how small the cakes and sandwiches were - very dainty, not what I was or am used to!

It was a great experience and a very special day. Another memory to savour....
