A trip to @BatsfordA (Batsford Arbortetum)

The day started at 7 am with a delivery from Ikea. Then after breakfast we were off to visit very good friends Cathy and Gary at Batsford Arboretum. They do have a great cafe/restaurant there that sell the most yummy cakes. We have visited the cafe before but did go and see the birds of prey next door. But this time we were going to have a walk around the arboretum. What a lovely place it is, a little green and brown at the mo but still a very nice walk. The rain stayed away and the birds sang as we meandered around.

After that Cathy and Gary took us to a place where there was a farm shop, gift shop and a cafe. The main reason was to visit the farm shop and the bird hide out the back. What a cracking place to see the birds and squirrels play. We even had a visit from muntjac deer which was great.

After that it was back to theirs for some grub. Overall, it was an awesome day, thank you Cathy and Gary for making it a special day xx.
