...came to help clear out the outhouse ;)

Early start today. Kenny and D tackled the outhouse and the empty skip was soon filled to the brim. Ele and I took on the final, final, final yeah I know I’ve said this before but this really was the final clear out of the games room and by 2pm we were all done and dusted.

A brief break for coffee and a bacon roll then pictures that have been waiting to be hung on walls since we moved here were finally hung up. And after the disaster on Christmas day, we also tested the fireplace with smoke bombs and confirmed there is definitely an issue (as if we didn’t know!) so need to find someone to look into that.

Also got the additional table set up in the dining room in readiness for the Burn’s Supper we’re having next Saturday. Feeding fourteen. Note to self – remember to order the haggis!!

Rest of the evening spent relaxing, having dinner and watching crap tv.
