Walton-on-the-Naze

We always used to make the most of our weekends, but since we moved in we've let it slip a little in recent weeks and months as work piled up and the weather was.... Slightly inclement!

So today we opened our Coast book and drove the 90 minutes to Walton-on-the-Naze for some of the apparently famous Bread Pudding at the Naze Link Cafe, and a break from house hunting.... The pudding was good (if a little burnt around the edge) the cafe was .... Eclectic, and the weather was perfect. We also met our next door neighbour scouring the beach for sharks teeth!

Later, we went to view the house which was a bit of an oddity- the kitchen was lovely, the view from the back over the open fields was stunning, but the rest of the house was badly laid out, the bedrooms were small and badly laid out..... That said, it was advertised as a 3 bed house, and we counted 5!
