It'll be a very good year 19/365

Today we got up before the sun to travel to the Hunter Valley, closest wine country to Sydney.

My favourite winery, Ernest Hill had started their harvest for the year and invited us to join them to help pick the grapes for a couple of hours. We were allocated the Alexander Reserve Chardonnay vines, some buckets, sunscreen and a tractor to collect our pickings.

This shot is of what will hopefully make another very good year for the Award winning Alexander Chardonnay. In 8 months we'll find out!
