River

This is so much better large.

This is not a clear picture but for those of you where it doesn't snow, this is what it looks like when it comes down. Visibility you ask? Not so much.
This is the river near where I live.
It is the Presumpscot river. I tried to shoot this in color but it didn't matter. It was in the middle of the storm and the fog almost hides the bridge. When I was a child this river went through the paper mill at S D Warren. The smell of sulphur and God knows what else was really bad some days. We didn't smell it often at my house however the paint peeled from the fumes.
I don't think it affected me. Well except I can't swim. It scares the heck out of me. Probably why.

I have to clear up the statement I made about my Dad not liking the mouse blip.
I asked him that night did you like the blip? He said no it was crunchy and not good. Now I was confused and felt kind of bad. The next day I asked him if he liked the fruit bars I bought him. He said no I told you they were too crunchy and not good.
So mouse blip ok, fruit bars bad.

We had a last minute brunch with some of the women in my family. Baby Ava was the hit of the party.
