Deserted

Had a nice long lie in this morning but poor M was on School duty at 9am this morning!

Headed for home on a mission to East Kilbride to find a 'posh frock' for Burns Night - and I spent 0! Didn't find anything I liked - most of the long length dresses were either really casual, really old and frumpy or perfect for a school prom! I guess I will just have to raid my wardrobe after all!

Anyway - dad and I decided to walk a bit further through the shopping centre - most things up this end had closed down or looked abandoned - in fact I think the only thing still open on this 'arcade' was a pet shop and a nail bar! This end used to be full of shops and people - bit of a sad state of affairs - but it's interesting as M and I were having a conversation yesterday about what the 'high street' will look like in 10 years - will we still have shops? Seems like this end of the shopping centre is already going in this direction!

Right - after many weeks (about 7!) I am finally back up to date - this time the back blips start on the 2nd December
