Annual Inspection

My means of transportation had its annual mandatory vehicle inspection today. In Finland, the vehicle inspection includes verification of VIN, taxes and insurance; "a test drive, brake testing, inspection of lights and compulsory equipment, superficial inspection for visibility and handling hindrances and bodywork, undercarriage inspection for suspension parts and corrosion and emission measurements". The test isn't even that easily passed, yet my 23-year-old car only got noted for a dim registration plate light!
