Reflections at Sunset

Today was busy, but much was accomplished. In the process of preparing for a crew of painters, furniture must be moved around, pictures carefully packed away, switch plates removed, etc. I went through half of a large cabinet containing primarily fabric and sewing related paraphernalia. What my husband would call "junk". Except that he uses a different four letter word. I must agree with him, though. I seem powerless to winnow it down, but I did toss a number of items today. Getting the clutter under control seems like a worthy project to undertake this year.
The end of the day was much more pleasant. We drove to Long Beach to visit our daughter and deliver some items for her apartment. Arriving ahead of our scheduled meeting time, we walked around the canals of Naples and caught this beautiful sunset on a bridge. I love the reflection of the colors of the sky in the water.
We shared a meal and conversation together, saw the 49ers lose the playoff game, and were even able to remain awake for the drive home. Amazing how bright and full the moon still looks days after it was full.
