Looking For Signs Of Life

It's been a bit like wading through treacle so far today. I've been working at my desk for hours and appear to have produced nothing! Feeling disheartened by this, I decided to go and find signs of life on this dreary day and leave the desk to itself for a while.

While I did have to search (and getting this picture involved crawling along the ground), I didn't have to search for long.

If you look closely, the snowdrops that caught my eye are in fact the backdrop to a thin branch full of buds awaiting the some warmth so they can continue to grow....
