Oh what a beautiful morning!

A huge temperature inversion in the valley below tempted me to go looking for a misty water shot by the river but it was too misty. It was cold and it took some time for the sun to break up the mist. This was taken a few minutes before I got home on the cycle path and I just love the suns rays coming through the trees and into the mist. It is almost a mono shot and I tried it in mono but I like the subtle colours on the grass bank and the dead leaves.
