Apple

The apples are almost finished. A few still hang on the trees, against all odds.

There is a favourite late variety that grows nearby. The apples are luscious, dark red and a must to pick when we pass by. I'd put a few away for store and taking out a few this morning they seemed to tell me today had to be a still life.

I love the old bricks and the cobwebs and seeing these illuminated by the window, it seemed a good setting for my fruit. I seem to be doing a lot of low key at the moment. I love the richness in the colours. They lift my humour.
