Church Island and Snow on the Mountains

Went over to the garden centre at Treborth this morning to buy some seed potatoes and some shallots. A few other useful items fell into the basket too!

Some groceries at Waitrose, then a short walk to take a photo of Church Island. It is looking a lot calmer and the tide was in but not as high as a fortnight ago.

If you look very closely you will see snow on the tops of the mountains - it's been there since a week ago and looks like it's staying.

Spent a pleasant hour in the garden late afternoon, after a heavy shower. I've moved pots of bulbs so that they can be seen from our window.

I also gathered two large tubs full of leaves and spread them on the border, there were blackbirds and a thrush digging in the leaves this morning and they were having such a good time and finding lots of tasty treats :-)
