A mystery

I find everything under the bonnet of my car a bit of a mystery and rather intimidating. I find it frustrating not knowing what I should do when the warning light comes on and I don't like being at the mercy of mechanics who can say things like, 'Oh yes, your carburetor looks dodgy and your spark plugs definitely need changing. That will be £700 thank you Madam.' Thankfully I understood the problem today. I was running low on oil. So that was easily fixed.
