Time for Reflection

This is one of the Science area posters which is just outside my classroom. We talked last week about a feminist interpretation of this and understandably the sixth form lads were up in arms at the possibility that we might be twisting Faraday's message. I think they are at last beginning to realize how powerful and manipulative language can be, and how important it is to understand the context of texts.

I have been intrigued too by the reflection in the Perspex covering - some person taking a picture with a phone. How silly!
