Irish buddies

Having sponsored two good Polish friends in their request for Irish citizenship I was honoured and delighted to lunch today with my two new "Irish" friends after their official ceremony. I went to the workshop today to finish off two pendants of , what I thought fitting, green glass I had recently picked off a beach. I set set them both in silver and polished them before setting off to a rather interesting lunch.
Being the vintage I am it was unusual to have a foreign friend unless he/she was from the UK. Today I we were a Belgian, a Brazilian, a French, three Polish and Irish. We have moved on as a country on the edge of Europe and I embrace it.... Language is no barrier to good people....just saying...
