Up close

Finally a beautiful sunny day. I am totally over the rain! Went walking with a couple of the ladies and did a very respectable 7 miles.

Got home mid morning and persuaded the kids to do homework whilst I made cakes and prepared dinner.

Went to meet our new skiing buddies this afternoon. We originally booked to go with 2 other families from school but one family had to drop out due to health problems. The other family managed to find some friends who fancied joining us so fortunately they were able to take their place. We go in four weeks time :-)

This tiny pony was keen to say hello as we passed his field in our walk!
