Sunset - Eden valley

A really overcast day in the Eden valley today, but I took a drive just before sunset, and passing this field, noticed the clouds drifting in the distant Ullswater fells, with the sun setting above.

I parked the car on a grassy verge, which was soft and it sunk at least 8" into the mud on one side! Then walked into the field in trainers only to sink into the mud there. I did like the sheep that wandered into the corner of the shot

Never mind - sometimes we have to suffer for our art!
