Winter Butterflies

I saw these tattered little leaves and thought they reminded me of butterflies. It may be a bit of a stretch to see it, but that's what I'm going with right now :)

I had tried photographing lingering snow in the sunshine, trying to get a good sparkly photo. That didn't work. I saw the ground under the snowball bush. It was lush, green and mossy and that's where I saw these leaves.

I know I have talked snow every time I've blipped lately. This morning when I got up, I had 3 text alerts on a new winter storm approaching. Then this afternoon 2 more alerts. All suppose to arrive just in time for the Tuesday morning work commute.... Booooo
