8:30pm and cleaning the Boardmans chain.

It's been back on the road for ten days and the sludge on the mech was unbelievable. Funny how quick things get clogged up.

Today has been mostly splendid.

An early start with the bairns was made pleasant by some good playtime then all getting organised and out the door to KCC to set up for worship. A real joy to be leading again and have great fun with the team. Being reminded of my fallibility was great - belting out the entirely wrong line on two occasions. I guess, if you're going to be wrong do it with gusto.

A quick photo shoot then home for guests, chat, lunch and getting to know people. Another joy.

Clear up, bedtime, bike cleaning, Grandad-phoned and that was about that.

A full-of-life day.
