Friends are for life.
Maureen and I met 37+ years ago in Huntly when I was a very green community worker and she was the social worker's wife. We haven't seen each other for ages and ages! Tonight we sat in 'Hemma' for well over 6 hours and talked like we'd never been apart. Politics, family, work, ex work, ex husbands, being the 'squeezed middle aged'. All that with a cocktail, some wine and some food. It was a great evening.
Blipped in Blackwell's window, another one of the paper sculptures?
And I started on the budget and next year's plans. Some days are good days.
