Local residents

This neighbors pond appears to be the only gathering place for some distance. This is cropped quite a bit in a trial shot with camera on a monopod and 70-200mm lens on a crop sensor. The clarity suffers somewhat showing this beautiful Wood Duck and Canvas Back the closest fellow. The 400mm lens will arrive tomorrow and I'll give it another go.
