Birthday trip to Te Anau

After a terse phone call to NZ van lines this morning I decided to go out for the day, seeing as though it was my birthday. The sky was not looking promising but as I got to Te Anau the sun came out in force.
Had a lovely/piece of caramel cookie slice at the Sandfly Cafe as my birthday treat and then it was off for a walk along the lake to walk it off. I had my blip within a few minutes but that did not stop me taking a few more shots.
I then headed home via another hour +walk along part of the Kepler track (sizing it up for when the knee is better)
