Happy Monday

Shared the day off with the woman of my dreams (yes I do expect some backlash from the overly manly men that read this), meaning we spent a whole 5 days together, that never happens because of work patterns!

When we took a walk along the beach late in the evening there was plenty going on and everyone was out with their cameras looking and shooting at this scene. This was taken from my phone, originally I hoped to take one underwater to try out the new case but the phone didnt like that idea. It still works perfectly out of water and the case did exactly what it was supposed to do but it doesnt function under water, maybe I was doing something wrong or maybe the water interferes with the screen. It must have been this disappointment that led me to leave my tripod lying on the beach as we went for coffee and to pick up some nice Central Otago wine, it was tip day afterall. Thankfully, this being QT and a tripod lying in a bunch of sticks meant it was safe and sound when we returned an hour later.

I like to keep the blips slighty different to whats on facebook because there should, but not always, be a story behind them. Anyway, this one is different to the ones on facebook, only slightly but its a huge difference in my mind, much wider lens than what was on the camera. Just a shame it wasn't underwater, maybe next time!
