Chance would be a fine thing

This pigeon seems to have commandeered a bird box, though he is surely far too fat to squeeze through an opening designed for far smaller birds. I can hear plenty of songbirds today, but despite the bare branches can’t see many and it’s a bit cold to hang around tree-gazing.
