Paintbrush Lily

Home again. Lovely trip. One thing about having dogs is that they are always so genuinely ecstatic to see you. Warms the cockles . .
This beautiful flower is known in Botanese as Scadoxus puniceus and in pleb language, and for obvious reasons, as a Paintbrush Lily.
The colour is only just saturated - they really do look like this - but I had fun fiddling with a newly discovered preset complete with frame.
