Steam off the Lake

We got up early this morning to go downtown so that my husband could be fitted for his tux for our daughters' wedding in May. On our way, we looked out over the lake & saw steam everywhere, rising off the water! It's caused by the big drop in temperature that happened overnight--we went from in the high 20's yesterday to 5 degrees this morning with a windchill of 20 below zero! (Our second "arctic blast"--fortunately not slated to last more than a day or two!). The air is so much colder than the water themperature that steam comes up off the water. It was really cool to see! There were hundreds of ducks floating around--probably thought they were in a sauna! Ha! Better viewed LARGE
