Red sky in the morning

The day began with a wonderful sunrise and a flock of redwings in the garden. Cold weather on its way?

Cycling into town was a chilly affair. On my way, I noticed a sheep trapped in brambles down by the Cairn Water, and resolved to rescue it with Sarah when I was home again in the afternoon.

We set off in our wellies and overalls, armed with secateurs. Rescuing sheep is a dangerous business. I held the sheep by her horns while Sarah cut the brambles. It's important to set the sheep free away from your body.. and thankfully we were successful, just getting very wet for our pains since by now it was raining hard.

Sarah has just heard that her interview with VSO was successful. She leaves for Cambodia on March 10th :-)
