A leap into the unknown

I love watching Misty leaping over the ditches on the marsh. Those long legs of hers can carry her over some wide ones. I love this one of her but didn't have much time to compose otherwise I would have included the other side of the ditch! Prior to our walk I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her jump across a cattle grid!! Most dogs would wait for you to open the gate but no not Misty :)

We were walking on a different part of the marsh this morning and I could see that a few feet of marsh has been lost following the recent high tides. I got chatting to somebody who's been visiting the area for over 30 years and was telling me about how much the marsh and mud flats have changed over the years. Ooh and Misty didn't bark at him but she was petrified of his dog :)
