Introduction to Chicago

A boat trip on the Chicago River is an excellent, relaxing way to start to get to know the city. This photo was taken further south, on the South Branch of the river, looking northwards towards the city skyline.

Chicago's skyscrapers are confined to a relatively small area. The Willis Tower (see yesterday's blip) is more prominent from this viewpoint.
