An Aladdin's Cave

The only break in my self denying ordinance re lunch is my weekly meal with my mum and sister. Today we went to a restaurant just outside Doune and I really went to town with a chocolate tart and home made marmalade ice cream.

Afterwards we went across to the antique centre which is a true Aladdin's cave of all manner of things from furniture to clothes to books. I was much taken by a grey top hat but it was too big- shame.
