When red outgrows green

... this is how it looks like - eyeful of red so I had to stop my bike, take a blip, and then move on, as if I saw a red traffic light on. They look lovely and like red beans.

In Chinese literature, red beans (红豆, hóng dòu, Vigna angularis) are the symbol of affections between lovers and family members. So when Chinese Lovers' Day (the 7th day of the 7th lunar calendar) arrives, lovers often make red bean bracelets or necklace, or other kinds of symbols, for each other.

So, time to collect these 'red beans' as the Chinese New Year is around the corner and the Valentines' Day is coming shortly.
