More goodies from Mum's house...

As well as the most amazingly stocked kitchen, bookshelves and used envelope collection ... Ma's knitting needle, crochet hook and button collection was very, very impressive too! She knows she can't knit or sew anymore because of her poor eyesight, now. But parting with this collection wasn't easy for her. I really felt for her.

I took a few needles and tools, this great book on fairisles and some brilliant 1940s - 1960s patterns, including one for a jumper Ma knitted for Pa perhaps 50 years ago.... that I ueed to 'borrow' as a teenager!! I'm very tempted to revisit that pattern ... for nostalgia's sake.
