Glasgow here I come!

After months of waiting, today I got the news that I have been accepted as a Clydesider (the name given to volunteers at the Commonwealth Games at Glasgow 2014).

It will be a step up for me this time as I have been offered a team leader role.

So all the excitement of 2 years ago when I went to The Olympics will return very quickly.

Orientation training in March then role specific and venue specific training will follow. Finally I will get to collect my uniform.

I will be familiar with the process this time and I have a good idea what to expect from my previous experience.

If it's possible I think I'm already more excited than 2012.
