Tea for the workers

I had a very peaceful day catching up with chores and chatting to people I met on my dog walk!
Meanwhile, my husband and our friend and neighbour were busy in the workshop, working on the frame of the hood for the veteran car once more.
Of course they appreciate a break now and then, so this afternoon it was scones for tea!
Later on, it was time for our village Garden Club, where we joined up for another year and heard an interesting and amusing talk on "garden trends" by the owner of our local garden centre. It is surprising how our gardens follow fashions just like everything else!
