Red, White and Green

Saw this bush in Tesco car park on way to group this morning. Caught my eye. Had really good group with an amazing moment with an autistic little boy I have been working with this morning. This afternoon's group was harder work, as one of the mums said they were "making me work for it today", kind of felt like I was singing to myself a lot!

Dancing was back for my two, and love it.

Prayer group tonight was very brill, we looked at the name of God, I hadn't thought before about the fact that God actually called Himself Yahweh when He spoke to Moses, so why don't I call Him Yahweh? It's hard isn't is there a name big enough?

My study today "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."

So many challenges in this... It is a question of attitude and heart, deep grounded stuff.
...it requires practise and perseverance, spiritual discipline and this is were I admit that spiritual discipline is something I struggle with, kind of why I am using Blip to air and journal my bible study.

Hmmm got to let this one sit and work it's way into me.

Lord Jesus, give me strength to work at those disciplines that are difficult and wisdom to see the effort as being worthwhile. For your sake. Amen
