Calm Before the Storm

It was a relatively quiet Friday. I noticed the shadows this candle was casting as I was getting into bed to relax for the evening. We got the little mantle piece in Cabo - I'm sure it's a cheap, mass-produced tourist gift - but it has special meaning to us.

I enjoyed relaxing this evening because I know it's going to be a busy three day weekend. My friend, Jorge, is having a party for his 1 year old Jorgie. Sunday are the AFC and NFC championship games. And Monday the kids have big plans of skate park glory, as well as our friend Alex coming over. Everyone enjoy!
