Well the mini-drought of two days was brought to a rude end the eve. Driving home was a bloody struggle.

Doing some work research tonight about river catchments and I noticed via some Environment Agency diagrams that most of Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Berkshire, Hants and Bucks had 300% of the usual rain for the second half of December/ first half of Jan.

I'm watching the published effects on riverine habitats like a hawk....
