Maternity leave

The bairn executed a front-to-back roll today for only the second time, and seemingly more deliberately than the first time, so this was by way of celebration. While I understand the masterchef rule is that there shouldn't be any garnish on the plate that you can't eat, I reckon the sunny marigold next to my pot of cream made me enjoy the cake even more. Sheer decadence.
