Went to get sunshine after he finished school today. This ice cream man was parked across the road from the school, just waiting for the boys to be dismissed. He was already doing a pretty brisk trade with the parents waiting for their boys.

I admit, I succumbed. I had a nice thick block of chocolate ice cream wrapped in a soft, fluffy slice of pastel tie dye coloured bread, the traditional way these ice creams are served. You could have yours between two wafers or in a cone, but I prefer the bread. Only S$1.20 (about 60p or US$1). Simple pleasures … but lots of empty calories.
