The Gentlest, Sexiest Utensil

Here is my utensil draw after I unloaded the dishwasher. Quietly these utensils will rest until called upon again to deliver food from plate to mouth.

I think spoons are the gentlest of utensils. Knives cut, forks jab, but spoons cradle and hold. We use spoons to comfort and care. We spoon feed our babies, we receive medicine with a spoon.

Spoons have soft, round, feminine curves and fit snugly against each other, lying hip to hip, spooning together in their slim bed of my drawer.
