My Boy and His Budgie

Today started with some exercises and a run. After that I spent the day writing a job application - 7 pages and a lots of hours later I was done! Keep your fingers crossed for me :)

Our budgie was making a racket so I brought him out and opened up his cage thinking maybe he wanted to stretch his wings. The thing about our budgie Sherlock, is that he is kind of grumpy, and may have symptoms of Stockholm syndrome. He loves his cage a little too much and we usually have to force him to fly around. The positive spin to this is when he gets tired he'll happily sit on your hand and get a lift. Which is when I snapped this shot.

I love them.
