Withered twig and birdbath

I'm just on my way out for coffee with a friend and as I was checking the weather I noticed the light on this withered twig/plant/weed and decided to make it my blip.
Robin and I are helping a friend get to grips with their digital SLR in a few weeks so I have spent the morning designing the day and trying to recall the lightbulb moments when I first got my SLR.
We are doing it in Lyme Regis so what we have to cross our fingers for is dry weather, otherwise we could be doing a lot of indoor shots of my fossil collection!
