Keeping warm..

..the first time..

These come "chopped", but still too big for our wood burner, so I'm putting the axe through most of them again.. And then stacking.

We have started the second bay (of two and a half), so have plenty of wood at the moment, so hope not to use this until next winter. Our wood needs to be dry though, otherwise we get problems with tar..

It's a slow job, because I have to keep throwing the ball for someone!!
