Fairlie Glen

This is not the main waterfall down this glen and only appears like this in winter when there has been a lot of rain. There has been a lot of rain.

The main waterfall is a few hundred yards further up the hill.

There are really two waterfalls here and the one on the right can just be seen. The noise where they meet is terrific and this photo does not do justice to how high they are. One day I will treat myself to a wide-angle lens, but in the meantime this is the best I could do without plunging to my death.
