Are you keeping up...

So this morning a package arrived, queue mild panic as I couldn't remember ordering anything.

It was my kindle yay.

So it now goes like this:
Kindle one the original - Voodoo Book

Kindle one dies at a year and a bit and so along comes replacement one, kindle two - Voodoo Book Resurrection

Kindle two, replacement one dies after about 7 months, so along comes replacement two, kindle three - Voodoo Book the Return.

With me so far? Replacement two, kindle three is the one that turned up today.

Replacement three, kindle four is now on the way.

Yep that's right replacement two, kindle three didn't even last the day. I turned it on, I registered, I downloaded the book I am currently reading from the cloud, I tried to go back to the home screen. Nothing, nada, not happening. The home button is defective.

I tried restarting it which is the kindle fix all solution. Yep still not working.

So I am very glad I purchased kindle insurance.

I am also I little shocked that there are so many problems with this device doesn't seem to matter which version you have, reading reviews on amazon some people are up to 9 replacements. Surely it's not fit purpose with all these problems? It's essentially a pretty basic electronic device you would surely expect many years of happy use!

I love the reading experience of a kindle, I prefer it to the app on my iPad, for me it really is a close second to a real book. But I will never recommend one to anyone ever again :( if you do buy one make sure you take out the extra insurance

In other news car is all fixed and back home yay.

And I brought these lovely tulips on my way home as a nice treat.

And beef burgers with sweet potato chips is on the dinner menu tonight woohoo.
