Blue, Boats and Birds.

I had to take my mum to Portsmouth hospital today to have a pre-op examination as she is having a cataract removed next week. She suffers from Age related Macular Degeneration as well as having cataracts forming, so we are really hoping that once they do the operation she may get slightly improved sight in one eye. We normally spend a long time sitting waiting to see the consultant but today she was seen as soon as we arrived which meant we were out of the hospital remarkably quickly. This meant I had some time to go down to the Historic Dockyard and get some pictures, followed by a walk on the beach and a bag of chips, and the weather was absolutely beautiful.
