Salad

my layered salad (garden grown lettice, grated kefalotiri cheese, cretan paximadi, dried chopped figs and sundried tomatoes in olive oil) could have made a prettier photo if i had left it layered

but i tossed it a bit ont he side, because i need to taste it before i pass it on to the family (and in this case, it needed a bit more dressing - balsamic, olive oil and salt)

food in our house is never prepared first for plating: it's first and foremost made to be eaten!
